Margo M. Rimington

March 14th, 1942 – April 29th, 2016

Margo Marie Rimington, age 74 of Montgomery, Alabama, formerly of Ipava, IL, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 in Montgomery. She was born on March 14, 1942 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of John Edwin and Goldie (Rudisill) Rimington.

Margo was a school teacher, teaching English Literature at Hanna City and Industry schools in Illinois.

She was an Army veteran, serving from 1970-1973 in active duty and in the reserves until 1998.

Margo was a member of the Ipava United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her brother David (and Cindy) Rimington of Prophetstown, IL, two step-sisters, Mary Jane (and Randy) Hemphill of Burlington, IA and Judith Ann Charbonneaux of Minot, SD, and two step-brothers, Carl Dean (and Martha) Scott of Rock Falls, IL and Larry Scott of Middlesex, NC.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 11:00 am at the Ipava United Presbyterian Church. Reverend Dr. Gary Elg will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Astoria, IL. Memorials in memory of Margo may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 4700 N. University, Peoria, IL 61614.
