Over the past 4 years, I had the priviledge of knowing Gary and having the opportunity to work with him on his farms, doing soil erosion work. I thoroughly enjoyed each of our visits and I thought very highly of Gary as person. He often called me at work just to chat and talk about his farm. I could tell he held a deep compassion for his farm and nature. My deepest sympathy to his family. I am sorry to learn of his passing, but am thankful for the opportunity to know and work with him. Sincerely, Drew DeRiemacker, USDA NRCS- Rushville

Gary had known me all my life, but I recently had the privilege of seeing him every day for the past two years straight. I am seeing his grandson, and he was just like a grandpa to me, I looked up to him and he was always there for me. Why God takes the ones we love the most, is beyond me. I know he is loved by many and missed by all. He was a great guy and will forever remain in our hearts. It won't be the same without you, but we know you are with us, and wouldn't want us to be sad. I love you Grandpa Gary.. May you rest in peace. <3
