Bennie Horner

December 22nd, 1922 – January 24th, 2015

Bennie Horner, age 92, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 6:55 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton, IL. He was born on December 22, 1922 in Astoria, the son of Hallie and Nellie (Hendee) Horner.

Survivors include caregivers Larry and Patricia Thomas of Astoria, IL and several cousins. Bennie is preceeded in death by one brother and one sister.

Bennie was a member of Laborers Local 231 of Pekin, IL. He worked construction. He was also a member of the Astoria Church of the Nazarene.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11 am at the Astoria Cemetery in Astoria, IL. Tony Clements will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Astoria Township Cemetery Association.
